Every once in a while you come across a vessel that has been ‘well preserved’ and has escaped the effects of TIME….. This Grand Banks “KINGFISHER” shows exceptionally well and reinforces the attraction of buying a vessel that has been stored for most of it’s life under cover, in a ‘boat house’ in the Pacific Northwest.

KINGFISHER is a beautifully maintained and continuously updated Grand Banks 36 Classic Trawler.  Built on a FIBERGLASS hull, she has two cabins, each w/ en-suite head, allowing two couples or a family to travel in privacy and comfort.

She has been docked her under cover, in a boat house for years and when seeing KINGFISHER, it will be apparent she is NOT like any GB36 of this age and unquestionably one of the nicest GB36s you will ever see.

KINGFISHER follows the traditional Grand Banks tri-cabin layout, locating the master stateroom with ensuite head aft and a similarly-equipped guest stateroom forward, separated by the salon, galley and helm station.  This arrangement provides exceptional privacy for cruising couples while offering comfortable socializing room when everyone wants to be together. The salon is surrounded by windows and has an L-shaped settee with dining table to starboard and straight settee to port, providing seating for nine people. The galley is forward to port and includes a dual-voltage refrigerator, propane range with oven, microwave oven, stainless steel sink and a generous amount of storage.  Opposite the galley to starboard is the lower helm station which includes engine controls, navigation electronics and electrical distribution panels. Adjacent to the helm station is a door providing easy access to the full walk-around decks.

Two steps above the deck is the aft cabin top which is a great spot for spreading a blanket and enjoying the sun.  Three more steps up puts you on the flybridge with built-in seating and a second helm station with superior sight lines in all directions.  Covered by a bimini top, this is a great place to spend an evening at anchor.

Brokers Comments: Really well looked after boat with re-powered John Deere diesel motors.  Boathouse kept and shows so nice.
