One owner late model North Pacific 38! The NP38 is built to high standards with a solid, low maintenance exterior and warm hand crafted traditional teak interior. The design maximizes useful living and storage space while always allowing for easy access for maintenance. The NP38 Sedan features a 17 foot long salon with a 360 degree view, giving a feeling of spaciousness usually only found on larger yachts. The NP38 Sedan is based on the same proven hull as the North Pacific 43 and 39 Pilothouse models. Powered with a single Cummins 230 QSB the NP38 Sedan will cruise economically (3 GPH) at 8 kts with a 10 kts top speed. Stepping aboard from either side mid ship boarding gates or from the swimgrid, you enter a spacious cockpit featuring: Hatch to access the large lazarette (gas assisted) Stainless steel ladder leading to fly bridge on port side Fresh water hot/cold shower A large sliding the door provides access to the interior. The dinette is to port with a large teak drop down tabl e and a pull out berth is to starboard. A pull across curtain creates a separate guest quarters allowing use of the galley/helm without disturbing guests.. Moving forward to port is the galley and the to starboard is the helm. The warmth of teak flooring and teak paneling is throughout and there is ample storage. The functional galley features Corian countertop & SS sink, Princess gas stove 3 burner w/ oven & exhaust fan Novakool RFU9000 fridge/freezer (9 cu.ft) The well equipped helm offers great visibility with full instrumentation and controls. Helm features include: A sliding door to allow easy access when docking Full Raymarine electronics with HD radar, C120 display, autopilot & VHF Moving forward the head area is separated into two large separate compartments with a Tecma electric toilet and sink to port then a separate enclosed shower compartment to starboard. The master berth has a large island queen bed and ample storage with hanging lockers and drawers. The well laid out engine room is accessed down a ladder through a hatch in the salon, featuring: Cummins 230QSB diesel with 160 amp alternator (1005 hours) Fresh water engine flush Fiberglass fuel tanks (2 X 175 gallons) Dripless shaft seal, SS shaft, 4 blade propeller Hynautic 2 station hydraulic steering Dual Racor fuel filters and an oil changing system Holding tank (30 GAL) with macerator pump Fiberglass water tanks (2 X 100 gallons) 11 gallon water heater 3000W inverter/battery charger New batteries (2016) - 1 engine, 3 house The flybridge offers lots of space and storage featuring: Helm seat and full helm station Radar arch (hinged) Propane locker with 20 lbs fiberglass propane tank L seating and bench seat both with cushions and storage Additional features: Vetus 75kgf (7.3 hp) 12V bow thruster Hurricane II Hydronic heating system including defrost, instant hot water heat and 2 zones Windlass, 300 feet chain, two anchors & washdown Fixed stabilizers by Independent Shipwrights LED lights 'Island Harmony' was the cover girl of Canadian Yachting West May 2013 issue.
