Striper 2901 'Spirit of Sidney' Stepping aboard the extended swim grid you enter a large cockpit with plenty of space for fishing or relaxing. Multiple lockers and fish boxes provide ample storage and the new Permateak decking looks great. The cockpit is protected by the hardtop with full canvas and the newly upholstered seats provide stylish comfort. A walkthrough window or the side decks offer access to the bow for anchoring. A couple of steps down to the cabin where a cozy space awaits. For overnighting there is a galley with single burner stove, a microwave and a Nespresso machine! The v-berth sleeps 2 and there are two Pullman bunks above for children as well as an aft berth under the cockpit. The head has a VacuFlush toilet and wet shower. The extensive refit involved pulling both engines and generator and “going over the boat with a fine tooth comb.” Work performed included servicing aftercoolers, heat exchangers, oil coolers and fuel coolers, installing the oversized swim grid, re-bedding deck fittings, upgrading wiring, new hoses, new thru hulls, new bonding system, custom exhaust riser insulators, AC recharge, and much more. All machinery service is current. The hull shines and all compartments are clean and tidy. An electric downrigger and all safety gear is included with the boat.
