Monaro Description
Monaro's are known for their high quality, fuel efficiency, toughness and smooth ride that is perfect for Pacific Northwest waters. She is roomy inside and out and very versatile for whatever season or purpose you need.
Entering the cockpit there is room to fish and move around safely. Entering through the weather tight bulkhead brings you into the raised pilothouse area. It’s well appointed and ideal for cruising with friends with its nearly uninterrupted 360-degree view. This space has two comfortable chairs at the helm and an L-shaped settee behind with a cocktail/dinner table with beverage holder inserts. An extra lift-up panel enlarges the table and the two helm chairs also swivel to utilize the table. The side and aft windows all open for ventilation. A well equipped helm station includes a Furuno NavNet GPS plotter with radar, Icom VHF, windlass controls, Mathers electronic controls and trim tabs.
A few steps down from the pilothouse brings you into the main cabin. To port is a galley with a 2 burner Origo 4100 stove with cover, an under counter refrigerator, a deep single basin sink and storage cubbies. Across is the head with a large sink, electric toilet, counter space, storage and a wet shower. Forward of the head is more storage and counter space with a microwave above.
In the bow is a large v-berth with a table that drops down to create a double sleeping area. There are reading lamps and generous storage cubbies along both walls. An additional under cockpit double berth is aft and has a privacy curtain and reading lamps. In the cabin three opening hatches offer light and fresh air.
B’s Haven is powered by twin Volvo Penta KAD32’s each providing 175 HP. Engine access is by a hydraulically assisted hatch in the cockpit. She has a Lewmar electric windlass with a Vulvcan anchor.
